FurKids Sutherlin Dog Shelter

Morton Construction built the new 16,000 SF Sutherlin Dog Shelter for Furkids Animal Rescue & Shelters on their nine-acre campus in Cumming, Georgia. Designed to nearly double the organization's dog capacity to roughly 135 animals, the facility reimagines what a shelter can be – offering private rooms for each dog, dedicated enrichment and training spaces, expanded outdoor play yards, a splash pad, and adoption areas built to reduce stress and help animals and families connect. The shelter joins Furkids' growing campus alongside the Giaquinto Medical Center, furthering the organization's mission as Georgia's largest no-kill animal shelter.
